FOOTBALL WILL-CALL

What is will-call?
Will call is a location where one may pick up tickets purchased without sufficient time to mail or if an individual prefers to pick up their order. Will call orders may be picked up at the Jerome Schottenstein Center prior to the day of the event. If you must pick up your order on the day of the event, will call will be made available at the facility where the event takes place (except football will call) starting 1 to 1 ½ hours prior to the start of the event.

In order to pick up your will call tickets, you will be required to present:

Your valid state or government issued photo ID, driver's license or passport. A valid ID must be duly issued by a government agency and include a photo and a signature
The credit card you used to purchase the tickets if necessary

The Ohio State Ticket Office will not release tickets if the name on the ID and credit card does not match the name used to purchase the tickets, or if the photo on the ID does not appear to be the photo of the person retrieving the tickets. The original ticket holder may designate another individual to pick up their tickets by contacting us in writing prior to event day. Requests must be approved by the Ohio State Ticket Office. Students are required to pick up their own athletic tickets and must present their Buck ID at time of pick up.

Effective September 2008: The Ohio State Ticket Office will no longer accept outside will call. Outside will call is anything "dropped off" by an individual at the Ohio State Ticket Office windows for another individual to pick up.

FOOTBALL AWAY GAMES

When can I order my away game tickets?
Season ticket holders (non-Student or Faculty/Staff): Any away games that you are eligible for will be made available on your season ticket application. Away games are subject to availability and your order may be refunded if the demand for tickets exceeds the allotment Ohio State receives for any away game. Away game tickets will be mailed to full season ticket holders approximately 2-3 weeks before the actual game.

Students: The opportunity to purchase away game tickets is available when you login to their OHIO STATE BUCKEYES ACCOUNT at ohiostatebuckeyes.com, during the student football ordering periods. To be eligible to purchase away game tickets, you must purchase season tickets for the upcoming season and meet all eligibility requirements to pick up tickets in the fall. Each student is eligible to purchase one ticket (2 if married) for each away game, but quantities are very limited. Tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis until the student supply is exhausted. Students interested in sitting together at away games must pick up their away game tickets together at the Schottenstein Center. No student tickets will be mailed.

Faculty/Staff Season ticket holders: Please see the Faculty/Staff Away Game Information Guide for any questions regarding Faculty/Staff away game tickets.

Alumni/General Public: The away game allotments that we receive are usually minimal. We do not typically have an away game sale for our alumni or general public. We encourage you to contact the host school for any availability they may have.

Where and when can I pick up my away game tickets?
Away game tickets purchased thru the Ohio State Ticket Office are typically mailed unless the original account holder requests otherwise. Student away game tickets are not mailed and must be picked up Monday thru Wednesday the week of the game at the Ohio State Ticket Office in Columbus. Students interested in sitting together at away games must pick up their away game tickets together at the Schottenstein Center. Any tickets not picked up in Columbus by the close of business on Wednesday may be picked up on game day at visiting team will call once gates open.

OTHER FOOTBALL FAQs

How do I exchange my current tickets for accessible seating?
Season ticket holders and alumni single game purchasers should request accessible seating by indicating your specific seating needs when submitting your ticket application online. Be sure to indicate whether you need seats that do not require climbing many steps or if you require wheelchair accessible seating. If you are in possession of tickets that are not accessible, please bring them to the OSU Ticket Office in the Schottenstein Center at your earliest convenience to exchange them for accessible seating. On football game day exchanges can be facilitated, based on availability, at Guest Services located in the NW corner of Ohio Stadium at gate 7 beginning two hours prior to kickoff and remaining open until halftime. All seating is limited; accessible seating is made available on a first come first serve basis and we cannot guarantee accessible seating will be available for individuals needing to exchange tickets on game day.

What tickets require an OSU ID at the gate?
Tickets requiring an OSU ID are clearly marked. Student tickets, which are not upgraded, require an OSU ID at the gate with each ticket. If the student also purchases a spouse ticket with their order, their spouse ticket requires an OSU ID at the gate as well. Faculty/Staff discounted tickets require one OSU ID for every two discounted Faculty/Staff tickets.

At what age are you required to have a ticket?
The Ohio State University follows the Big Ten policy of requiring a ticket for everyone, regardless of age, including infants for Football, Men's and Women's Basketball and Men's Ice Hockey. For all other regular season OSU athletic events age 6 and under are free.

Purchasing a ticket from someone outside of the Ohio State Ticket Office
Only tickets purchased directly from the Ohio State Ticket Office can be authenticated at the gate upon entry. We cannot guarantee that any tickets purchased from a third party source are valid or that they will allow you entry into the stadium.

Why can't I buy tickets for certain events?
Athletic tickets usually go onsale about 1-2 months prior to the first game of the season based on availability. Typically for football, however, tickets sell out thru season ticket sales and are not made available to the public. Those who are interested may continue to check our website or ticketmaster.com closer to game day for any possible public ticket releases.

If I cannot attend an event, is my ticket refundable?
Unfortunately, all tickets purchased thru the OSU Ticket Office are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

Can I lose my ticket privileges?
Yes, you may lose your ticket privileges if you have engaged in conduct that is determined, by either OSU or the NCAA, to be in violation of any NCAA rule or if, in OSU's reasonable discretion, you have otherwise taken any action that jeopardizes the eligibility of OSU's programs or its student-athletes.
