Jesse Padgett (Fall 2013-current) Jesse is in his third year as a Professional Intern for The Ohio State University Olympic Sports. Jesse graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. He holds a Master's Degree in Exercise Science from California University of Pennsylvania. He is currently certified through the NSCA as a CSCS, NASM as a Performance Enhancement Specialist, NASE as a Certified Speed Specialist, and USA Weightlifting Level 1 Sports Performance Coach. He and his wife, Melanie currently reside in Galloway.
Chris Slocum (Fall 2015-current) Chris is in his first year as a Professional Intern for The Ohio State University Olympic Sports. Chris graduated from The University of Mount Union with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. He holds a Master's Degree in Education and Administration from Houston Baptist University where we was the strength and conditioning Director of Olympics sports. He is currently certified through the NSCA as a CSCS, NASM as a Performance Enhancement Specialist, and FMS Lv1. He currently lives in Columbus, Ohio

Aaron Hall (Fall 2015) Aaron is currently a senior Exercise Science student at Youngstown State University and will graduate in December 2015. Upon graduation, Aaron plans to pursue a Master's degree in Kinesiology or related field and pursue a career in collegiate strength and conditioning. Aaron is also working on taking CSCS exam after graduation and will also be entering his third season as an assistant wrestling coach at Girard High School.
Kelly Roderick (Fall 2015) Kelly graduated from The Ohio State University in May, 2015 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree. During that time, she worked as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor for the Department of Recreational Sports. She holds a W.I.T.S personal training certification, Zumba certification, and Schwinn cycling certification. Following her internship, she plans to obtain her CSCS and attend graduate school. Prior to transferring to Ohio State, Kelly played field hockey at Michigan State and is currently the Head Varsity field hockey Coach at Upper Arlington High School and plans to pursue a career in strength & conditioning with an emphasis on mobility and restorative yoga for athletes.

Krista Aurelius (Summer 2015) Krista plans to graduate from Bowling Greeen State University in December 2015 with a degree in Exercise Science. During her years at Bowling Green, she was a member of the cheerleading team. She plans on continuing her education by pursuing a Master's degree in Kinesiology or Exercise Science related field of study.
Julia Bachtell (Summer 2015) Julia will graduate in July 2015 from Wright State University with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Science. After graduation she will attend graduate school for a Masters in Sports Science and further pursue strength and conditioning work. Julia has served 8 years in the Ohio Army National Guard where she has served both at home and one combat deployment to Afghanistan. Currently, she is studying for the CSCS examination. Julia has one daughter, Cheyanne Caitlynn.
Alex Butts (Spring 2014) Alex will graduate from The Ohio State University in May 2014 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. She currently holds a USA Weightlifting Level 1 Sports Performance Coach certification, an ACE Personal Training Certification, and plans to earn the CSCS certification. Alex also plans on obtaining a Master's degree in Kinesiology following graduation.
Ted Cox (Spring 2013) Ted will graduate from Capital University in May of 2013 with a degree in Exercise Science. During his time as a Crusader, he has played football and ran track for four years. He is currently working on his CSCS certification.
Brian Crabtree (Fall 2014) Brian graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in May of 2014. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Rehabilitative Sciences. While at the university of Hawaii, he interned with the strength and conditioning department. Brian plans to go on to obtain a master's degree in Exercise science. He also plans on obtaining CSCS and CSCCa certifications.
Jake Eisenhut (Fall 2014) Jake graduated from The Ohio State University in December of 2009 with a degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Nutrition. Upon graduating, he earned his CSCS certification and has been training clientele in the private sector for the last 5 years. He is a Level 1 Sports Performance Coach through USA Weightlifting and has future plans to become certified by the CSCCa and to obtain a Master's Degree in Strength and Conditioning. Jake and his wife, Jessica, have a daughter, Lily.
Michael Locasto (Summer 2014) Michael graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with a Bachelor of Science degree in Strength and Conditioning in May 2014. While at Oshkosh, Michael was a member of the baseball team. Prior to coming to Ohio State, Michael interned with the strength and conditioning department at the University of Wisconsin. His future plans include attending the University of Miami, in Coral Gables, for graduate school in Exercise Physiology. Michael is CSCS certified upon verification from the NSCA.
Zack Miller (Spring 2015) Zack graduated from the University of Akron in December of 2014 with a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in Strength and Conditioning. While there, he worked as a personal trainer as well as the student intern for the strength and conditioning department. Zack plans to pursue a Master's Degree in Kinesiology or Nutrition and while pursuing a career as a strength and conditioning coach at the high school or collegiate level. He is currently CSCS certified.
Cassie Prenger (Spring 2015) Cassie is a senior at Capital University and will graduate with a degree in Exercise Science. While at Capital, she played basketball. She is currently working on her CSCS.
Aaron Rittgers (Summer 2014) Aaron graduated from Capital University in December of 2012 with his degree in Health & Fitness Management. Upon graduating, Aaron obtained his CSCS and he plans on earning his USAW Level 1 Sports Performance Coach certification. He, his wife Ashley, and their son Benson reside in Canal Winchester.
Sharon Sanders (Summer 2015) Sharon is a senior at the University of South Alabama and will graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science in December 2015. While at South Alabama, she played basketball. She also worked as a personal trainer in several gyms in the city of Mobile, AL. After graduation, Sharon plans to pursue a Master's Degree in Nutrition. She is currently working on her CSCS.
Joe Schneider (Summer 2015) Joe will be graduating from East Stroudsburg University with a Master’s in Exercise Science in August 2015. During his time at ESU he was a Graduate Assistant working with women’s volleyball, softball, and lacrosse. He holds the USA Weightlifting Level 1 Sports Performance Coach certification and is currently studying for the NSCA CSCS exam.
Lavanya Sirsikar (Spring 2014) Lavanya is a senior at The Ohio State University and will be graduating in May 2014 with a Bachelor's degree in Health Promotion, Nutrition and Exercise Science. She is certified through USAW as a Level I Sports Performance coach and is working toward the CSCS certification. After graduation, she plans on going to graduate school to study sports performance or a related field.
Matt Smith (Spring 2014) Matt is a senior at Trine University and will be graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science in May 2014. He is currently working towards CSCS certification and his future plans include becoming USAW and SCCC certified and attending graduate school.

Ashlee Abraham (Fall 2014) Ashlee will graduate from The Ohio State University in December 2014 with a Bachelor's degree in Human Nutrition. She is a former member of the Varsity Women's Track and Field Team from Detroit, Michigan. She is a three-time Big Ten Champion, five-time All-American, and a two-time member of The Buckeye Power Club.
Jonathan Newton (Spring 2014) Jonathan will graduate in May 2014 with a Bachelor's degree in Sports and Leisure Studies and a minor in Exercise Science from The Ohio State University. Jonathan plays for the men's volleyball team and was a part of the 2012 MIVA championship team. Jonathan is a Scholar Athlete from Santa Barbara, California.
Matt Pohlman (Summer 2014) Matt will graduate in May 2015 with a bachelor's degree in Sports Industry from The Ohio State University. Matt plays for The Ohio State Men's Volleyball Team and was a part of the 2012 MIVA Championship season. Matt is from Scottsdale, Arizona.
Brant Reardon (Spring 2015) Brant is a senior at The Ohio State University where he has competed four years on the track and field team. He has received Academic All-Big Ten selection and has been a scholar athlete for three years. He is a three time Division III state champion in Ohio for the men's high jump. He also holds the Division III high school state record in Ohio for men's high jump. He is studying Sports Industry and plans on graduating in the spring.
