COLUMBUS, Ohio - Racing in his last Big Ten Championships, senior Jason Addington (Bolivar, Ohio) led the Buckeyes to a fourth-place finish after placing 10th individually at the Big Ten Championships in University Park, Pa.

As the top Buckeye finisher, Addington notched a time of 25:47.30 for 10th place. Teammates David Gonzalez (Bolingbrook, Ill.) and Ian Connor (Jr., Lexington, Ohio) captured 19th and 20th place, respectively. .J.J. O'Reilly (So., Dover, Ohio) and Rob Myers (Fr., Rushville, Ohio) followed in 25th and 45th place.

Wisconsin captured its 34th Big Ten Championships as Matt Downin and John Schoenfelder led the Badgers in first and second place individually. Michigan and Minnesota followed in second and third place. Ohio State's fourth placing was its best as a team since 1989.

Senior Alexis Schulist (Sr., Muskegon, Mich.) captured 28th place individually to notch her best Big Ten Championship finish. The women's squad finished 11th, while Wisconsin captured the Big Ten title.

Teammate Karyn Kelly (So., Westlake, Ohio) followed in 50th place (18:33.55) and Kati Stevens (So., Upper Arlington, Ohio) notched a time of 19:10.42 for 73rd place.

Wisconsin captured its fifth-consecutive Big Ten Championship after taking five top ten times. Erica Palmer led the Badgers with a time of 16:46.93 for first place, individually.

The men's squad will next compete at the NCAA District IV Regional Championships on Nov. 13 in Terre Haute, Ind.
