TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Junior Tori Brink and freshman Nicole Hilton represented the Scarlet and Gray Monday at the 2011 NCAA Cross Country Championships hosted by Indiana State University at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course.
Brink placed 120th in 21:12, a 63-spot improvement from her 183rd-place finish at her first NCAA championships as a freshman in 2009. Hilton finished slightly behind Brink with a time of 21:21.4 for 142nd in her inaugural NCAA championship performance. Sheila Reid of Villanova won the title for the second consecutive year, crossing the line ahead of 253 other competitors in 19:41.2.
The Georgetown Hoyas captured the team title with 162 points.
