Buckeyes Take Eighth at Greater Louisville Classic

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women’s cross country team finished eighth out of 30 teams Saturday morning at the Greater Louisville Classic in Louisville, Ky., with a team score of 272.

Freshman Lilly Saniel-Banrey led Ohio State with a 44th-place finish among 260 athletes in a 5k time of 17:39.5. Senior Sakiko Minagawa was 59th in a time of 17:47.4, followed by redshirt junior Tammy Berger (67th, 17:52.9) and senior Helen Willman (69th, 17:53.7). Senior Andrea McArdle completed the scoring for the Buckeyes, finishing 77th in 17:58.1.

No. 8 Michigan captured the team title with score of 42, followed by No. 6 Iowa State and No. 19 Penn State.
