COLUMBUS, Ohio - Ohio State women's volleyball junior Emily Danks was named to the All-Regional Tournament following the team's appearance in the regional semifinal of the NCAA Division I Women's Volleyball Championships.

The outside hitter from Round Rock, Texas, totaled a team-best 20 kills and a .405 hitting percentage in Ohio State's 3-1 loss to No. 3 Illinois in the Sweet Sixteen, Dec. 9. Danks also added 10 digs and two service aces in the loss.

Danks concluded the season second on the team with 453 kills and a 3.36 kills-per-set average. She led the squad with 63 service aces and now is second in Ohio State history with 180 career aces. Danks finished with 28 double-digit kill performances and six double-doubles on the year.
