COLUMBUS, Ohio - Head coach Geoff Carlston and members of the Ohio State women's volleyball team took time away from competition to visit with patients at The James Comprehensive Cancer Center last week.
Coaches and student-athletes split into three groups and visited three separate floors, greeting 4-5 patients during a one-hour visit. The team met people from around the country, trying to lift their spirits as they battle with cancer.
The Buckeyes had a great time talking about the team and getting to know all they came in contact with. Most importantly, they made all the patients smile and laugh during the visit.
