COLUMBUS, Ohio – Junior setter Olivia Dailey has signed on to join the Ohio State University women’s volleyball program after transferring from the University of Kentucky, as announced today. The Trussville, Ala. Native is eligible to compete immediately.
“With Taylor Hughes done competing we needed to find a strong setter to join Becca Mauer on our team,” said head coach Geoff Carlston. “Olivia has invaluable big game experience over her three years in college that will serve our group well. We are really excited to have her joining our family.”
Dailey is the most recent addition to the 2018 roster for the Buckeyes, who added her former teammate Jordan Fry last week.
Dailey was a member of the Wildcats’ 2017 SEC Championship squad. She shined during her sophomore season, earning AVCA All-Southeastern Region, All-SEC and All-America laurels. She started 31 of 32 matches and finished the year fourth in the nation in assists per set at 11.78 in 2016. Dailey appeared in five matches for Kentucky in 2017.
