COLUMBUS, Ohio – Sophomore middle blocker Jordan Fry has decided to join the Ohio State University women’s volleyball team after transferring from the University of Kentucky, as announced today. The Cincinnati, Ohio native will be able to compete immediately.
“It’s so great to get Jordan into our family,” said head coach Geoff Carlston. “She fits in perfectly with our program academically and will make an impact right away with our team.”
Fry was a member of the Wildcats’ 2017 SEC Championship squad and competed in four matches. Prior to her time at Kentucky, Fry played for Ohio volleyball powerhouse Ursuline Academy and Elevation Volleyball. She helped guide the team to a GGCL championship and district runner-up in her senior season. Fry played a critical role in Ursuline’s 2015 Ohio Division I Regional finals appearance.
