Bobby McClanahan is in his first season at Ohio State. He handles administrative duties including travel, co-directing camps and video coordinating. Prior to Ohio State, McClanahan served as a student operations manager for the Ball State women's volleyball program from 2008-2010. In his final year with the Cardinals, the squad went 24-5 and won the Mid-American Conference title with a 14-2 overall record.

As an athlete, McClanahan played libero for the Ball State men's volleyball club team from 2006-2008. He was also a four-year letterwinner in cross country and track for Prairie Heights High School.

He is a 2011 graduate from Ball State, earning a degree in sport administration and another in business management. The Orland, Ind., product graduated from Prairie Heights High School in 2006.

McClanahan is the son of Bill and Tina McClanahan and has two older sisters, Ashley McClanahan and Becky Kjendalen.
