Josh Chiero

Josh Chiero is in his first year as volunteer assistant for the Ohio State women's volleyball team and joins the program with extensive experience coaching on the high school and junior levels.

Before joining the Buckeyes, Chiero served as the assistant club director with Mintonette Sports in Lewis Center, Ohio, for two seasons. He also has had a coaching role with the club since 2008.

In addition to his time with Mintonette, Chiero was an assistant coach with Morehead State in 2011.

Chierio was the head boys volleyball coach at Westerville Central High School from 2007-10. He was named East Region Coach of the Year and was the runner-up for state Coach of the Year. He was also a girls assistant varsity coach at Gahanna-Lincoln High School and the head varsity coach at Olentangy Orange.

The Westerville, Ohio, native graduated from Ohio State in 2009 with a bachelor's in sports Leadership and Humanities.
