Susan Halverson

Susan Halverson enters her first season as a volunteer assistant coach for the program. The Apple Valley, Minn., native is a 2011 Ohio State graduate with a degree in education. She most recently completed graduate school at Ohio State, earning another degree in education. She was also a four-year letterwinner with the program, playing for the Buckeyes from 2007-10.

The defensive specialist finished her career with 610 digs, including a career-high 200 her junior year. She played in over 117 matches and 371 sets throughout her four-year career, averaging 1.64 digs per set.

Halverson was a four-time Ohio State Scholar-Athlete as well as a three-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree.

She is the daughter of Kurt and Jane Halverson and has one sister, Sarah.
