Richard Jones will coach sprints and Jackie Ulm will coach throws
John Lintz enters his second season as a volunteer assistant for the Buckeyes, working with the pole vaulters. Prior to Ohio State, Lintz served six years as assistant track and field coach, and then head cross country coach, at Otterbein University. At Otterbein he coached four NCAA qualifiers in the pole vault and two All-Americans, including the 2005 indoor NCAA Champion. He also coached athletes to NCAA Great Lakes Region Field Athlete of the Year honors and his vaulters set four conference records. His cross country teams were consistently NCAA All-Academic and in 2009 his men's team was nationally ranked.
Lintz is a teacher for Olentangy Local Schools and has a bachelor and master's degree from Otterbein.
