Trio Signs with Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Three standouts have committed to the Ohio State women’s tennis team, Melissa Schaub, Buckeye head coach, announced. Emma DeCoste, who will join the squad in January, along with Kolie Allen and Isabelle Boulais, who are set to enroll in Fall 2018, all signed National Letters of Intent this week.

“We are very excited for this class to join the Buckeye family,” Schaub said. “They are going to have an immediate impact on our program both on and off the court. Emma, Kolie and Isabelle will represent Buckeye Nation at its best.”

Kolie Allen (Lombard, Illinois)
• Won Illinois state singles title in 2017, finishing year 33-0
• U16 USTA Level 1 national doubles champion
• 2014 U14 National Hard Court Doubles Bronze Ball winner
2015 U16 National Clay Court Championships Doubles Bronze Ball Winners G16
2015-August USTA National Doubles Championship Level 1 U16 gold ball winner
• Won 18s national team championship with Midwest squad in 2016, team placed fourth in 2017
• Won Midwest Level 2 18s title in December 2016
• Won 18s doubles and finished third in singles at National Level 2 championships in 2017

Isabelle Boulais (Mississauga, Ontario)
• Played for Canada’s Junior Fed Cup team in 2016
• Won Canadian Nationals doubles titles eight times
• Three-time Canadian Nationals third-place finisher in 18s singles and won Canadian U16 title
• $50,000 Saguenay doubles semifinalist in 2016
• Doubles champion and singles quarterfinalist at $15K Sri Lanka tournament in 2017
• Condor De Plata and Argentina ITF Junior G2 doubles champion
• Won El Salvador ITF G4 singles and doubles titles in 2014

Emma DeCoste (Stuart, Florida)
• Doubles champion in Evert, Edmonton and South Carolina ITF tournaments
• Back to back Florida singles champion
• Won Orange Bowl U16 doubles title
• ISC- 16s doubles champion
