Hey everyone!

It’s March and we are officially one month closer to spring time. Some warm weather would be excellent right about now. Last time I checked in, we were gearing up to play Tennessee on the road, and what a road trip that was. There was a friendly mouse on the bus ride to Knoxville that peeked out to say hello to Kelsey Dieters, who was the first to notice and inform everybody. Our bus driver had to stop and open all the windows so the little guy could either show himself or abandon bus. We are still not sure whether the mouse hid somewhere else for the rest of the trip or not, but we quickly forgot about him.

After taking a tough loss to the Volunteers, we traveled to Arkansas the following weekend to play against the Razorbacks. The University of Arkansas athletic facilities impressed me. They had a solid indoor and outdoor center. Everybody got used to their courts pretty quickly and we were able to pull out with a win against Arkansas, 4-3.

Recently, the Bucks are coming out hot from an incredible win in the Varsity Tennis Center. Indeed, it was a “Sunday Funday,” as we took out one of our B1G rivals, Penn State 5-2. Noelle Malley was kind enough to clinch for us, ending with a dramatic and long last game. It feels great to get the W against a team that had been undefeated so far this year. We took on Youngstown State following Penn State, defeating them 7-0.

Next up, we travel to the Blue Gray Tournament in Montgomery, Alabama. I don’t want anybody to get too jealous of our spring break hot spot so I won’t rub it any longer.

Thanks to everybody who has been reading along and coming out to our matches.
