Heidi Liou, a junior on the Ohio State synchronized swimming team, saw action for the Buckeyes as a member of the Gray Team, collecting three first-place finishes last season and finishing third at the North Regional Championships. A vocal leader for the Buckeyes, Liou is a two-time U.S. Collegiate Academic Team selection and was named a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar and Academic All-Big Ten honoree following her sophomore season. The Chandler, Ariz., native spent last summer studying abroad in London and shared her experience with OhioStateBuckeyes.com here. Last season, Ohio State captured its 23rd consecutive North Regional Championship with a score of 96 points and clinched second in the U.S. Collegiate National Championships.
