Student-Athlete Spotlight: Lauren Nicholson, Synchronized Swimming
Jan. 14, 2014
All-American Lauren Nicholson has consistently been a top competitor on the Buckeye synchronized swimming team. Last season, Nicholson, a native of Riverside, Calif., and an exercise science education major helped guide the Ohio State Scarlet Team to a runner-up finish at the U.S. Senior National Championships and finished in the Top 5 in the trio competition with teammates Chelsea Aton and Paige Ramsey at the U.S. Collegiate Championships. With the 2014 season just underway - the Buckeyes resume competition at 4 p.m. Feb. 1 at the Jessica Beck Memorial Meet in McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion - Nicholson and the Buckeyes are primed to make a run at the U.S. Collegiate title.
