Buckeyes Prep for Season Finale at U.S. National Championships

Competition will run April 9-14 in Greensboro, N.C.

Since graduating from Ohio State in 2011, Deborah Shim has maintained an active role with the Buckeye synchronized swimming program. Now in her second year as the volunteer assistant coach, Shim has supported the coaching initiatives of former head coach Linda Lichter-Witter and now current head coach Holly Vargo-Brown as the Scarlet and Gray have captured their 27th and 28th U.S. Collegiate National Championships titles.

During her letterwinner years with Ohio State between 2008-11, Shim won three U.S. Collegiate National championships trio crowns in 2009, 2010 and 2011. A four-time All-American, Shim also was part of three U.S. collegiate national team routine championship squads from 2008-2010.
