• Member of Scarlet Squad that captured team routine title at Jessica Beck Memorial Meet (88.830), Wheaton Collegiate Invitational (89.0) and Gator Synchro Invitational (88.833)

2011 Freshman Season Highlights
• Member of Scarlet Team that recorded a first-place 173.4125 in team final to help Ohio State win its second U.S. Senior National title
• Part of Team Scarlet's 92.875 performance for runner-up finish in U.S. Collegiate Championships; Buckeyes won their 27th title
• Also competed in the trio final at the U.S. Collegiate Championships and finished third with an 89.750
• At North Regional Championships competed with Scarlet Team and earned a 96.667 for first in team routine; 2011 team season best
• Performed an honorary solo routine at North Regional Championships and finished fourth with a score of 88.50; competed in trio final at regionals with Paige Ramsey and former Buckeye Lauren Robinson and the trio finished second (92.333)
• During the regular season, the Scarlet Team finished first at Richmond and William & Mary; also teamed with Ramsey and Robinson in the trio for first at Richmond and second at William & Mary
• At the Jessica Beck Memorial Meet, Nicholson and Team Scarlet were first with a mark of 95.50 and also finished first in the trio routine (91.667) with Ramsey and Robinson
• In season-opening meet vs. Michigan, placed second in solo routine with a mark of 89.50; also finished first in trio with Robinson and Ramsey with a score of 92.50

• Member of the Riverside Aquettes from 2001-2010 where she was coached by Sue Nesbitt, the mother of former Buckeye Barbara Nesbitt (2007-10)
• 2010 West Zone Athlete of the Year
• Four-year letterwinner for the MLK swim team; 2006 Ivy League 500 champion; earned Team MVP and Coaches Award from 2007-10; 2009-10 Team Captain; part of two school relay records

• Enjoys sleeping and watching movies
• Greatest sports thrill so far has been beating Canada in 2008 while with the U.S. Junior National Team and becoming a 2008 national champion in duet
