Columbus, Ohio – Three days of diving await the Ohio State divers this Thursday, Friday and Saturday at McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion. Competition on Thursday and Friday will begin at 1 p.m. ET and Saturday’s event will begin at 11 a.m. ET.
On Thursday, the women will compete on the one-meter, while the men dive on the three-meter board at the same time. The roles will be flip flopped on Friday with the women taking on the three-meter board, and the men will compete on the one-meter board. Saturday will feature the women’s platform competition from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and the men will follow from 2-4 p.m.
There are five zone meets spread across the country that allow divers to qualify for the NCAA Championships. Based on performances at the previous NCAA meets, each zone earns a set number of qualifying spots. The Zone C meet has eight spots on the one-meter and 10 spots on the three-meter and platform for the women. The men’s divers are chasing after one of 10 spots available on the one and three-meter board and there will be 11 divers that advance on the platform.
