COLUMBUS, Ohio - For the fourth time in 2012-13, redshirt sophomore Ohio State diver Cheyenne Cousineau earned the Big Ten Conference's Co- Diver of the Week Award, the conference office announced Tuesday. The award also is Cousineau's fourth of her career, sharing the honor with Joelle Christy of Iowa.
Cousineau, a native of Temperance, Mich., claimed first-place finishes in Ohio State's dual meet at Michigan last weekend. She won the one-meter springboard with a total score of 318.60, while earning first on the three-meter with 304.05 total points. Both scores were NCAA Zone Diving qualifying marks. Cousineau becomes the first women's diver to earn four weekly honors in a single season since Maggie Keefer of Minnesota claimed four laurels in 2011-12.
The No. 15 Buckeyes will wrap up the home dual schedule this weekend, hosting Cincinnati at 1 p.m. Saturday at McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion.
