Four Buckeyes Named NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Four Buckeyes were named 2013 NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes, the National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced Monday. Seniors Melissa Rennie and Audrey Plant, junior Olivia O'Reilly and 2013 senior Brittany Mills were named to the presitgious list for the Scarlet and Gray.
The award is bestowed upon any player submitted by a member coach who achieved a 3.50 grade point average or higher during the 2012-13 academic year. The honor marks the second component of the Association’s academic award program. Overall, more than 4,000 softball student-athletes from across seven different division were named to the NFCA All-America Lists.
