Five Ohio State softball players are members of the Big Ten's class of Distinguished Scholars, the conference announced today. The award is presented to student-athletes who have earned a minimum grade-point average (GPA) of 3.7 or higher for the previous academic year.

Megan Coletta Named Director of Operations

The Ohio State softball team has hired Megan Coletta as its director of operations, head coach Kelly Kovach Schoenly announced today. Coletta was a standout third basemen for the Buckeyes from 2010-13.

2014 Season In Review

The Ohio State softball team finished its 2014 campaign with a 30-25 overall record and 13-10 mark in Big Ten play. The Buckeyes ended their season on a high note, winning 10 of their last 12 games, including two victories in the Big Ten Tournament and a regular-season sweep of then-25th-ranked Northwestern.

Carrillo, Watkins Garner NFCA All-Region Honors

Junior outfielder Taylor Watkins and senior first basemen Evelyn Carrillo have earned NFCA All-Midwest accolades, the National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced Thursday. Watkins was named to the second team while Carrillo was placed on the third team.
