COLUMBUS, Ohio - Ohio State women's soccer student-athletes Melissa Miller and Lara Dickenmann were named to the 2005 National Soccer Coaches Association of America's (NSCAA) Great Lakes Regional Teams. Miller earned second-team honors and Dickenmann claimed third-team laurels.
A mainstay in the backfield for Ohio State, Miller (Jr., Cincinnati, Ohio/Kolping) collected her third-consecutive all-region honor, including two first-team awards in 2003 and 2004. The Cincinnati, Ohio, native also contributed to the offensive side of the pitch, tallying two goals and two assists for six points. Miller, who helped OSU shut out four teams in 2005, is the only Buckeye to start every match since 2003.
Dickenmann, (So., Kriens, Switzerland/Sursee) who saw action at forward and in the midfield, earned her second NSCAA regional award of her career, as she earned first-team accolades last season. In 2005, Dickenmann recorded three goals and six assists for 12 points.
