Thirteen Buckeyes Named Academic All-Big Ten
COLUMBUS, Ohio – Thirteen members of the Ohio State women’s soccer team have been named Academic All-Big Ten, the conference office announced Wednesday. To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, student-athletes must be letterwinners who are in at least their second academic year at their institution and carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
Ellyn Gruber and Ashley Gruenbaum received their third Academic All-Big Ten honor while Katelyn Kraft, Jillian McVicker, Michela Paradiso, Kenzie Schlemitz and Morgan Wolcott each picked up their second award. Sophomores Lindsay Agnew, Alexis Degler, Megan Geldernick, Nicole Miyashiro, Nichelle Prince and Bridget Skinner each were named Academic All-Big Ten in their first year eligible.

Earlier this month, the team received a National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Team Academic Award after posting a 3.36 team grade-point average for the 2013-14 academic year, earning the honor for the seventh-consecutive season. To be eligible for the award, the team must post a collective grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
