COLUMBUS, Ohio – Lindsay Agnew, a senior on the Ohio State women’s soccer team, has been named a third team All-Great Lakes Region selection by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA), the organization announced Tuesday. Agnew becomes the 30th NSCAA All-Region pick in program history after Michela Paradiso and Nichelle Prince earned third team laurels in 2015.
A co-captain as a senior this season and an assistant captain in 2015, Agnew led the Buckeyes with 10 goals and eight assists in 2016. Agnew concluded her career fourth in program history with 19 assists, tied for 13th with 55 career points and 15th with 17 career goals.
A second team All-Big Ten selection in 2016, Agnew is a three-time OSU Scholar-Athlete, a two-time Academic All-Big Ten pick, a 2015 and 2016 Big Ten Distinguished Scholar and a 2016 CoSIDA Academic All-District and second team Academic All-America selection.
