The No. 6-seed Buckeyes defeated Detroit (14-8-1, Horizon League), 3-0, Sunday at home to earn its first appearance in the Round of 16 in the NCAA Tournament. Ohio State topped Bowling Green (10-12-2, Mid-American), 2-0, in the first round Friday.
