Less than three minutes into the overtime period, Grubb found Sarah Lanham (Jr., Middletown, Ohio/Middletown) and Lanham put the ball past PU goalkeeper Elizabeth Boldt for the gamewinner. Boldt recorded six saves, all coming in the second half when OSU outshot the Boilermakers, 8-4. For the match, the Buckeyes outshot PU, 12-9, but were held to three corner kicks compared to 11 for the hosts.
