Just a few reminders to all Buckeye fans attending women's soccer matches this weekend...
It will be a "Go Pink" Friday night when Ohio State takes on Iowa at 7:30 p.m. at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium. Admission is free to all and the Buckeyes encourage all fans to wear pink as they continue to support breast cancer awareness. All breast cancer survivors are encouraged to attend the game for a special recognition at halftime and pink ribbons will be distributed to the first 300 fans.
Honorary captains for the game include: Lynn Sullivan (mother of OSU sophomore Liz Sullivan), Debbie Jenkins (mother of OSU junior Courtney Jenkins), Melinda Maxwell (mother of OSU sophomore Paige Maxwell), Anne Bownas (mother of team manager Spencer Bownas), Sarah Wick (team nutritionist) and Teri Casperson (former Ohio State SASSO employee).
Also, parking for the Sunday match against Northwestern will be impacted by the Autism Speaks "Walk Now for Autism" event. Fans attending the match (which will also be broadcast live at noon on the Big Ten Network) are being asked to park at the Buckeye Lots northwest of Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium. Follow Fred Taylor Drive from Ackerman Road to the Buckeye Lots on the right.
