%^$ %^$ UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The seventh-ranked Penn State women's soccer team held on to a 1-0 lead for the entire second period to defeat Ohio State Friday evening at Jeffrey Field. PSU's 10-game unbeaten streak marks a school record as the Nittany Lions move to 9-0-1 for the season and the Buckeyes fall to 6-4. %^$

Bonnie Young put in a cross that Carole Dutchka centered from the left side of the field one minute into the second stanza for the game's only score. OSU managed just four shots for the match while the Nittany Lions put up 16. Penn State freshman goalie Emily Oleksiuk recorded three saves and her fourth shutout while Amber Barnes (So., Fairfield, Ohio) finished the contest with six stops. %^$

Senior midefielder Becky Borchers (Dayton, Ohio) nothched three shots before being ejected with 30 seconds remaining in the first half four a flagrant foul. %^$

OSU plays host to West Virginia, Wednesday at 4 p.m. at the OSU Sports Field. %^$
