COLUMBUS, Ohio--The Ohio State women's soccer team lost 3-2 to Indiana Sunday at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium. The Hoosiers scored two unanswered goals with less than 10 minutes remaining in the match. OSU falls to 4-6 overall and 0-3 in the Big Ten, while IU improves to 6-3 overall and 1-3 in the Big Ten.

OSU led the match twice. Kiley Enmark (So., Sterling Heights, Mich./Henry Ford II) scored in the third minute off teammate Jennifer Miller's (So., Centerville, Ohio/Centerville) free kick.

The Hoosiers responded in the 22nd minute when freshman Shelly Gruzska shot the ball past OSU goalkeeper Amber Barnes (Sr., Fairfield, Ohio/Fairfield) from 20 yards out.

OSU took the lead again when Sarah Lanham (So., Middletown, Ohio/Middletown) broke through the IU defense and placed the ball in the top left corner of the net to give OSU a 2-1 lead. OSU missed a few open net shots that could have sealed a victory for the Buckeyes.

"There were two or three open nets and obviously we have to sink those," Lori Walker, head coach for OSU, said. "When you don't finish the opportunities you have, it can come back to haunt you."

Those missed chances did strike back when IU junior Kelly Kram's free kick in the 83rd minute was redirected by freshman Emily Hotz to tie the game at two. Only five minutes later, Kram tipped in a breakaway attempt from teammate Wendy Graves to give IU its first win in three games.

"Overall, I'm disappointed for the team," Walker said. "I'm not disappointed in the team."

OSU will return to action at 8 p.m. EDT Friday when Wisconsin plays host to OSU in Madison, Wisc.
