COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women’s soccer team is ranked 17th in the first RPI (Rating Percentage Index) rankings of 2016, released Monday by the NCAA.
The Buckeyes are 6-3-1 overall, 0-1-1 in Big Ten Conference play, and are ranked 23rd in the latest Top Drawer Soccer rankings, also released Monday. Senior forward Lindsay Agnew leads the Buckeyes with five goals on the season while Agnew, Nichelle Prince and Nikki Walts are tied for the team lead with three assists. Ohio State as earned home wins against Kent State, Wright State and Texas to go along with road victories at Miami, Florida Gulf Coast and No. 16 Virginia Tech.
The Buckeyes return home to take on Nebraska at 7 p.m. Friday and Iowa at 1 p.m. Sunday.
