%^$COLUMBUS, Ohio--The Ohio State women's soccer team fell to no. 11 Wake Forest, 2-1 Friday%^$afternoon in the first game of the University of Missouri/Ellis Copy Invitational in Columbia,%^$Mo. The Buckeyes' record drops to 1-2 overall and 0-0 in the Big Ten, while the Demon Deacons%^$remain undefeated with a 3-0 record overall.%^$

%^$Lindsay Eckles (So., Hilliard, Ohio/Hilliard Davidson) put OSU on the board early in the first%^$half. She gathered the ball from teammate Emily Thorpe (Jr., Cincinnati, Ohio/Sycamore) and%^$fired it past Wake Forest goalkeeper Tracy Chao. The Demon Deacons' first goal came in the%^$84th minute. Joline Charlton scored off a pass from Stacy Roeck, tying the game at one.%^$

%^$Sarah Kate Noftsinger shot the gamewinning goal past OSU goalkeeper Amber Barnes (Sr.,%^$Fairfield, Ohio/Fairfield) in the first overtime period for the win.%^$
