COLUMBUS, Ohio - Ohio State forward Lauren Granberg has been named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday.

The sophomore scored the equalizer and game-winning goals for the Buckeyes in a 3-1 come-from-behind win over West Virginia Sunday. Granberg, who tied for the team lead with six goals as a freshman last season, tallied six total shots in the two wins over Pittsburgh and West Virginia.

The award marks the first Offensive Player of the Week for Ohio State since Lisa Collison earned the award Nov. 3, 2008.

The Buckeyes, 2-1-1 this season, travel to Dayton to take on the Flyers at 6 p.m. Friday before hosting Akron at 6 p.m. Sunday.
