COLUMBUS, Ohio - Ohio State women’s soccer coach Lori Walker will be behind the microphone once again this Saturday as she serves as color analyst for ESPN2’s live broadcast of the USA vs. Finland soccer game. J.P. Dellacamera will call the action with Walker and U.S. defender Heather Mitts, who is recovering from knee surgery, providing expert analysis. The live broadcast is set to begin at 9:30 p.m. EST.

The game, played at the Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif., is the final match in a 2007 Send-Off Series for the U.S. Women’s National Team prior to the 2007 FIFA World Cup, which takes place Sept. 10-30 in China.

Walker is a veteran and valued television announcer. She has announced more than 50 games on television over the last six years, including serving as women’s soccer analyst for NBC’s coverage of the Olympics in 2004. She also helped usher in the third season of Women's United Soccer Association (WUSA) action in 2003 as a color analyst for the Washington Freedom on Comcast SportsNet (Md.). It was Walker's second season working with the Freedom. During the summer of 2001, she served in the same capacity with the New York Power (WUSA) on the Madison Square Garden (MSG) network.

Walker is in her 11 season as coach of the Ohio State women’s soccer team, which will open its regular season Aug. 31 with a noon game against Butler at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium.
