Nichelle Prince to Represent Canada at Pan-American Games
COLUMBUS, Ohio-- Nichelle Prince, a member of the Ohio State women's soccer team, has been selected to represent Canada at the 2015 Pan-American games in Toronto.
Prince, from Ajax, Ontario, a suburb of Toronto, and Canada open play in the tournament July 11 against Ecuador. The Canadian team then faces Costa Rica July 15 and Brazil July 19 before the semifinals July 22.
The rising junior appeared in 30 matches, making 29 starts, in her first two seasons. Prince has scored 16 goals and added eight assists while tallying the game-winner in six contests. The Ajax, Ontario, native earned her first cap with the Canadian Women's National Team in the Four Nations Women's Tournament in China in January 2013. She also was a member of the Canadian U-17 National Team and the Canadian U-20 National Team, participating in the 2014 U-20 World Cup.
