Buckeyes Complete 2015 Spring Schedule with 4-1 Record
COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Ohio State women's soccer team recently wrapped up its 2015 spring slate with a 4-1 record, including wins over Cleveland State, Xavier, Kent State and Louisville. The Buckeyes received seven goals from Nichelle Prince and three from Lindsay Agnew over the five matches.
Ohio State opened the spring schedule Feb. 22 with a 3-0 win over Cleveland State. Lindsay Agnew scored a pair of goals, both assisted by Nicole Miyashiro, while transfer Eleanor Gabriel tacked on another off an assist from Michela Paradiso. The Buckeyes then tallied another shutout victory later in the day against Xavier on goals from Nichelle Prince and Paradiso.
Ohio State earned a 3-1 win over Kent State March 8 as Paradiso opened the scoring followed by a pair of goals from Prince. Three weeks later, on March 28, a hat trick by Prince guided the Buckeyes to a 3-1 victory over Louisville. The Buckeyes dropped a 3-2 decision to West Virginia April 25 despite goals from Prince and Agnew but concluded the spring with a 4-1 record.
Ohio State opens the regular season against Illinois State Aug. 21 at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium in Columbus.
