Columbus, Ohio - The Ohio State women's soccer team, which boasts 11 members who carry grade point averages that exceed 3.0, earned another academic honor this week as senior co-captain and All-Big Ten honoree Jen Miller (Centerville, Ohio/ Centerville) received a post-graduate scholarship.
Miller, who is scheduled to graduate this spring, holds a 3.84 grade point average in mechanical engineering and has earned Ohio State Scholar-Athlete status in each of the 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002 seasons.
The Centerville, Ohio native helped lead the Buckeyes to a dramatic Big Ten Tournament title and the program's first-ever trip to the NCAA Tournament as she piloted a defensive unit that allowed just 1.5 goals per contest and recorded five shutouts on the season.
