Buckeye Soccer Forward Lisa Collison Selected to Compete on Canadian Under-20 National Team

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Ohio State women's soccer student-athlete Lisa Collison was selected to compete on the Canadian Under-20 National Team. Collison has been training with the national team since Dec. 28 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., in preparation for the CONCACAF qualifying tournament Jan. 18-27 in Veracruz and Córdoba, Mexico.

Collison (Fr., Niagara Falls, Ontario/Burlington Flames) is one of 20 members on the national squad selected to defend its CONCACAF (The Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football) Under-20 title won in 2004 against the United States. The tournament consists of eight teams with Canada slotted in the Group A category.

Earlier in the training camp, Collison saw action in two friendlies and compiled one goal and three assists.
