COLUMBUS, Ohio - For nine days, the Ohio State rowing team managed to avoid 30-degree temperatures and light dustings of snow in the Central Ohio area. Why? In further preparation for the 2010 season, the Buckeyes traveled to Miami Beach, Fla., Dec. 9 for their annual training camp. In its fifth trip to the Sunshine state, Ohio State traveled 20 varsity and novice rowers.

The Scarlet and Gray will begin its season March 27 in Princeton, N.J., when it races Princeton and Brown. The Buckeyes will host one regatta during the regular season at Griggs Reservoir on the Scioto River April 18 vs. Michigan, Michigan State, and USC.
