COLUMBUS, Ohio - Following its first scrimmage of the 2010-11 season Sunday vs. Michigan, the Ohio State rowing team continued fall preparation on the Scioto River at Griggs Reservoir this week. The Buckeyes took in 60-degree temperatures and sunny weather Thursday morning as they rowed and raced about 2,000 meters.
Ohio State has another fall scrimmage on the Scioto River Nov. 14. The Buckeyes will host Michigan State, Indiana and Notre Dame at approximately 11:30 a.m.
The Scarlet and Gray continue to anticipate the opening of the new Griggs Reservoir Boathouse, which is located on the west side of the river. The facility is scheduled to open in December.
