COLUMBUS, Ohio - Ingrid Aasaaren and Anniken Ellingsen, rising seniors on the Ohio State rowing team, competed at the Norwegian National Championships Sept. 4-5 at Årungen regatta course, which is located about 40 minutes from Oslo, Norway. Aasaaren and Ellingsen had successful showings, winning the 4- and 8+. Aasaaren also won the pair. In all, the duo's club team, Christiania Roklub (Christiania Rowing Club), finished 31 points (53 points) ahead of runner-up team Stavanger (22 points).
With the impressive showing, Christiania Roklub won the Emil Mørchs Pokal trophy, bettering 21 other club teams.
