A. The river “Elbe” that runs through the city and the nice sunsets over the river.

A. Twice a year

How big Meissen is, where it is and what is the next biggest city

Q. What’s the biggest difference between your hometown and Columbus?
A. Meissen is a very old city, it was founded in 929.

Q. How would you describe your hometown?
A. A calm, old small city, great for sightseeing

Q. What is the population of your hometown?
A. About 28,000 people

A. Their whole life

Q. What sport/activity is the most popular in your hometown?
A. Rowing of course

Q. What do visitors to your hometown need to see/do?
A. They need to see the castle “Albrechtsburg” in the late Gothic style and the porcelain factory.

A. Porcelain

A. The castle and the porcelain

A. And again the porcelain

A. The first European porcelain was manufactured in Meissen.
