Redwood Shores, Calif. – The No. 2 Ohio State women’s rowing team claimed two wins over No. 10 Stanford in the Second Varsity Eight and First Varsity Four on the final day of the Pac-12 Challenge.
The 2V8 of Hanna Gottschalk, Kimberleigh Warriner, Catherine McNutt, Maddie Perrett, Chelsea Harpool, Bridget Schodorf, Cassandra Johnson, Annie Jachthuber and Anjali Fernandes (coxswain) claimed its second win of the weekend on Sunday. They picked up a 5.91-second win over Stanford to close the regatta out.
The 1V4 boat – Stephanie Gase, Hannah Hites, Ashley Saba, Kaylee Koker and Helen Sudhoff (coxswain) – triumphed in Ohio State’s final race of the weekend with a 10.15-second win. It was the first win of the weekend for the First Varsity Four.
The Buckeyes will head to Bloomington, Ind., next Saturday (April 8) to face off against Big Ten foes Indiana and Iowa.
