Taylore Urban is in her first season as a graduate assistant with the Ohio State women's rowing team. She previously served as a volunteer coach with the Buckeyes during the 2015 national championship season.

Urban was a four-year member of the Buckeyes from 2011-2014, earning three varsity letters and helping the Scarlet and Gray to back-to-back NCAA team championships in 2014 and 2013. She was a three-time NCAA event champion, winning a national title with the second varsity eight in 2014 and back-to-back titles with the first varsity four in 2013 and 2012. She also won three Big Ten event titles (2V8 2014, 1V4 2012-13).

Academically, Urban excelled as well, earning Ohio State Scholar-Athlete accolades all four seasons along with three Academic All-Big Ten awards. She graduated in Spring 2014 with a degree in human nutrition.

A native of Medina, Ohio, Urban is the daughter of Dave and Kim Urban.
