2013 (Freshman Season): Rowed as a member of both the First and Second Novice Eight crews throughout the season ... opened the season with the Second Novice Eight at the OSU Invitational ... claimed a third-place finish (7:59.09) behind Michigan (7:25.94) and Notre Dame (7:57.90) in the first session and a second-place finish (7:55.1) behind Michigan (7:34.0) but ahead of Notre Dame (8:07.01) in the second session ... placed second to Michigan (6:58.8-7:01.1) as a member of the First Novice Eight at the Big Ten Duals April 13 at Belleville Lake in Ann Arbor, Mich., ... captured two first-place finishes at the Clemson Invitational at Lake Hartwell in Clemson, S.C. April 20-21; the first over Virginia, Oklahoma, UCF and Louisville in 6:58.2 and the second over Clemson, Texas, Penn, UCF and Miami in 6:45.0 ... placed second (7:17.00) to No. 8 Harvard-Radcliffe May 4 at Griggs Reservoir ... captured a first-place finish and gold medal at the 2013 Big Ten Championships after crossing the line in 7:06.90 ahead of second-place Wisconsin and third-place Michigan ...
