2013 (Junior Season): Rowed as a member of the Second Varsity Eight in every race of the season ... earned Big Ten Boat of the Week honors (April 16 & 23) ... earned an undefeated 12-0 record ... opened the season with a win (6:51.4) over No. 3 Princeton and No. 13 Brown at Carnegie Lake, N.J. on March 30 ... earned two wins at the OSU Invitational April 6 at Griggs Reservoir; the first over Tennessee (7:15.7-7:29.8) and the second over No. 13 Notre Dame (7:18.80-7:32.75) ... claimed first place (6:48.1) over No. 13 Michigan, Michigan State and Indiana at the Big Ten Duals April 13 in Ann Arbor, Mich. ... captured three wins at the Clemson Invitational at Lake Hartwell in Clemson, S.C. ... the first (6:33.4) over No. 3 Virginia, Oklahoma, Minnesota, Louisville and Central Florida ... the second (6:23.4) over Clemson, Penn, Miami, Texas and Central Florida and the third and final race (6:55.1) over UCLA, Minnesota, Oregon State, Texas and UCF ... defeated No. 8 Harvard-Radcliffe (7:01.94-7:15.35) May 4 at Griggs Reservoir ... earned a first-place finish at the 2013 Big Ten Championships at Eagle Creek Park in Indianapolis, Ind. with a time of 6:31.41 ... captured the boat's first NCAA Championship with a first-place finish (6:27.86) at the 2013 NCAA Championships at Eagle Creek Park in Indianapolis, Ind ... Academic All-Big Ten and OSU Scholar-Athlete.
2012 (Sophomore Season): Competed with the Third Varsity Eight in the opening race of the season, defeating Notre Dame (7:04.52-7:24.46) at Griggs Reservoir on March 24 ... rowed with the Third Varsity Four on March 31 at Griggs Reservoir, defeating No. 9 Michigan (7:16.67-7:37.70) in the morning session, and No. 11 Michigan State and No. 9 Michigan in the afternoon session after crossing the line in 7:25.20 ... rowed with the Second Varsity Four on April 14 at Griggs Reservoir, defeating Michigan and Oklahoma in the morning and afternoon sessions with times of 7:40.85 and 7:49.63, respectively ... also earned wins over No. 19 Clemson (7:48.81-8:05.30) and No. 2 Virginia (7:18.10-7:23.27) with the Second Varsity Four at Griggs Reservoir on April 28 ... Academic All-Big Ten and OSU Scholar-Athlete.
2011 (Freshman Season): Novice rower ... defeated Clemson at Griggs Reservoir on April 3 at the ACC/Big Ten Challenge with the First Novice Eight, crossing the finish line in time of 7:42.38 ... Ohio State Scholar-Athlete.
Prior to Ohio State: Played lacrosse at East Greenwich High for four seasons under head coach Judy Davis ... goalie for varsity team ... earned 2010 All-Region Academic Team honors ... recognized as member of Rhode Island All-State Academic Girl's Lacrosse Team in 2010.
Personal: Daughter of Todd and Julie ... has one sibling, Brandon ... plans to pursue a career in public relations after graduation ... enjoys biking, going to the beach, cooking, taking pictures and reading magazines ... lists winning Big Ten title during her freshman year as greatest sports thrill to date ... describes winning the Big Ten championship as an intense feeling of pure joy.
