Two-time Big Ten champion (2V8, 1N8)
2015 (Junior Season): Rowed as a member of the Second Varsity Eight in every race of the season ... opened the season with two wins at the Big Ten/ACC Double Dual on Griggs Reservoir March 28, the first coming 14 seconds ahead of No. 9 Notre Dame and the second (6:24.97) over No. 18 Louisville … captured two first-place finishes at the Big Ten/ACC Challenge in Charlottesville, Va., April 4; the first (6:25.9) over No. 4 Virginia and the second (6:29.5) over Clemson ... won both races at the Big Ten Double Dual on Griggs Reservoir April 11; earned the first victory (6:04.88) by 12 seconds over No. 19 Minnesota and the second over No. 18 Wisconsin (6:09.25-6:10.07) … won two of three races over two days at the Clemson Invitational in Clemson, S.C., April 18-19; captured a second-place finish (6:38.2) behind Virginia in the morning session (6:25.7) and defeated Washington State by three-tenths of a second in the evening (6:32.5) on day one, followed by a win on day two over No. 16 UCLA … captured a win in the regular season finale at Griggs Reservoir April 25 with a time of 6:36.1 … placed second at the 2015 Big Ten Championships at Eagle Creek Park in Indianapolis, Ind., with a time of 7:02.29, helping the Buckeyes’ to a third consecutive Big Ten team championship and fifth overall ... earned a silver medal at the 2015 NCAA Championships in Gold River, Calif., clinching the program’s third consecutive national team title.
2014 (Sophomore Season): Rowed as a member of the Third Varsity Four throughout the season ... opened the season with a third-place finish (7:52.09) at Griggs Reservoir on the Scioto River ... captured a first-place finish (8:03.5) at the Big Ten Challenge April 12 in Iowa City, Iowa, defeating Louisville and Iowa ... earned a win (7:54.47) over Notre Dame `A' and Notre Dame `B' in the first session of the Big Ten/ACC Challenge in Ann Arbor, Mich., April 19; placed second (7:33.93) behind Virginia in the second session ... earned two second-place finishes May 3 at Belleville Lake in Ann Arbor, Mich., both behind Michigan but ahead of Louisville in times of 8:02.51 and 8:38.25, respectively.
2013 (Freshman Season): Rowed as a member of the First Novice Eight in every race of the season ... opened the season with a fourth-place finish (7:45.3) at No. 3 Princeton with No. 13 Brown at Carnegie Lake, N.J. March 30 ... claimed two third-place finishes at the OSU Invitational at Griggs Reservoir April 6, both to Michigan and Notre Dame in times of 7:47.82 and 7:50.52, respectively ... placed second behind Michigan (6:58.8-7:01.1) at the Big Ten Duals April 13 at Belleville Lake in Ann Arbor, Mich., ... captured two first-place finishes at the Clemson Invitational at Lake Hartwell in Clemson, S.C. April 20-21; the first over Virginia, Oklahoma, UCF and Louisville in 6:58.2 and the second over Clemson, Texas, Penn, UCF and Miami in 6:45.0 ... placed second (7:17.00) to No. 8 Harvard-Radcliffe May 4 at Griggs Reservoir ... captured a first-place finish and gold medal at the 2013 Big Ten Championships after crossing the line in 7:06.90 ahead of second-place Wisconsin and third-place Michigan.
