Rowed as a member of the First Varsity Eight all season… edged Michigan at the Big Ten Championships to boost the Buckeyes over the Wolverines in overall points and secure their fifth-straight conference title...finished seventh overall to win the Petite Final and help place Ohio State at fifth in the NCAA Championships...won two races against No. 9 Yale and Harvard at Belleville Lake with times of 6:38.59 and 6:34.24...handed No. 1 California’s 2V8 boat their first loss of the year with a time of 6:25.55...closed out the PAC-12 challenge with a win over No. 10 Stanford at 2V8 with a time of 6:29.55...earned wins over No. 13 Iowa and No. 18 Indiana at Lake Lemon in Bloomington, Indiana...defeated No. 3 Michigan, No. 20 Duke and Notre Dame on April 15 with a time of 6:20.0...first in a race with six other teams, including two ranked teams, with a time of 6:20.630, on the first day of the Clemson Invite...earned silver the next day, defeating five teams (four ranked) with a time of 6:21.2.
Rowed as a member of the Second Varsity Eight at three regattas and as a member of the First Varsity Four at four regattas … won silver at the NCAA Championships with a time of 6:28.9, just 0.836 seconds behind champion California … captured gold at the Big Ten Championships in the First Varsity Four with a time of 7:10.364 to help Ohio State win it’s fourth-consecutive conference championship … finished the Clemson Invite with a 14-2 overall record in the 1V4, with wins over No. 14 Washington State and No. 20 Louisville … raced in the second varsity eight in the season-opening regatta in Princeton, NJ, beating No. 11 Princeton by 11.3 seconds with a time of 6:48.7 … handily defeated Clemson with a time of 7:16.2 at Griggs Reservoir in the First Varsity Four ... finished just 1.3 seconds behind No. 4 Virginia in the 1V4 with a time of 7:29.7 in the second regatta of the season … Split races against No. 10 Michigan and Michigan State at Princeton, NJ with times of 6:52.0 and 7:37.4 … capped the Season with a home victory against No. 16 Syracuse and Michigan State in the 1V4, finishing with a time of 7:07.9.
