Christine Easton Named ALC Defensive POW

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Christine Easton, a sophomore midfielder on the Ohio State women’s lacrosse team, was named American Lacrosse Conference Defensive Player of the Week, the conference office announced Monday evening. The recognition is the first weekly honor of her career.
The native of Eden Prairie, Minn., posted three groundballs and two draw controls, while causing a team-best three turnovers in the 11-9 loss vs. No. 14 Stanford last Saturday in California. Easton has started in all three games for the Buckeyes and leads the team with seven groundballs and has five caused turnovers in her third season at Ohio State.
Ohio State (2-1) continues its three-game road swing this weekend, traveling to face Boston College at Noon ET Feb. 22.
